To walk the esoteric path is to attempt to awaken for light, to become spiritual. Some have been successful throughout time and their Beings have risen. They’ve been given many different names in many different religions, because many religions describe this process of awakening.
The beings who have awakened in light who help humanity are a point of help and support. There are references to them throughout many different cultures; but surprisingly, it seldom if ever occurs to people who believe in things like angels to question where they come from. They are in religious texts, but where do they come from? With astral travel, you can go to that place. You can meet them face-to-face, and get incredible teachings and knowledge, discover the real thing. Yet, there are also people who awaken for evil and become demons.
It’s open to anyone to discover what’s going on, and yet, so few even try. But, that’s the nature of the esoteric; it’s always for a few, most just believe in something, or, just look at the physical world and say there’s nothing more. Both are believers: the person who says that the spiritual doesn’t exist is a believer as much as a religious practitioner. But personal experience gives esoteric knowledge and that is different from belief.
When traveling out of the body, many worry about meeting sinister, negative creatures. By exploring over there you can find that they do actually exist, and you have to learn how to deal with them if you don’t want them to interfere with your search for knowledge.
One of the main things that they try to use is deceit, as they try to stop you exploring and finding out the truth. They themselves are enemies of the truth, and you’ll find that there are many enemies of the truth. So you’ll need to have a strong resolve.
Q: Can a person take a different form over there and deceive us?
Belsebuub: There are beings of light and darkness who can take various forms, but it’s more difficult for an individual to do that, because they have to have certain abilities which most people lack.
If you see a creature when out of the body, let’s say you see a spiritual figure of some sort who matches your ideal of a perfect spiritual being, maybe with a long beard and a big robe, etc., but you don’t really know it’s good or bad (they try to deceive to stop the learning) you can use recitations, which dispel negative entities. But you can also detect an evil entity by using your intuition. The language in the astral plane is symbolic and intuitive, and you can uncover a sinister being by looking into their eyes. If it’s evil, you can see it by its horrible looking eyes, but you have to gaze right into them.
Were those sinister entities ever human like us?
Yes, those negative entities once had a human form or its equivalent, and they’ve ended up like that. Some were once awakened and fell and some followed procedures to awaken for darkness, for evil. They’re beings who love the ego and all the sensations, pleasures, etc., they want power and all that the egos bring. Most of humanity fails and becomes demonic eventually.
But then there are beings who work to help others to awaken for the light. Those who walk the path can become spiritual beings.
Can angels become negative entities?
Yes, angels can become negative entities. To do that, they have to fall. When an angel falls, they become a demon, the consciousness they once had gets submerged into egos but with much greater intelligence that an ordinary person, which reverts in its nature becoming evil intelligence. But then a demon can also become a human again, and rise back up. It’s here in this world that there is the possibility to change. Out there, as you can see in your dreams, you can’t really change. But you can change here.
Does the silver cord attaching us to the body ever get cut?
That only happens if someone dies here in the physical world due to a natural process. If someone has died, then the silver cord is cut, as it says in the book of Ecclesiastes in the Old Testament of the Bible.
I just wanted to ask if you hear a sudden noise while you’re in astral projection and this cord is suddenly cut, due to a noise, this sudden noise.
No, it requires a special kind of angel to cut that.
It’s only with death that the essence, the consciousness is free of the physical body. Before that, someone just keeps coming back here, where it’s possible to learn and awaken.
Do we have a spirit guide when we are out of the body?
If you come out of your body, there could be a guide waiting for you. Often though, you’ll seem to be on your own, (you’re not alone really), and you may not see anybody else, or anything spiritual. You can ask for help and guidance when you get there, you can call spiritual beings for help, or ask to be taken to different places, etc. The hidden guide everyone has is their own divine Father, who works in secret.
No one is alone doing this. Just as you can see people dreaming when you are out of your body, so there are other beings watching over you, spiritual beings.
You spoke of hell in the subconscious. Isn’t hell a manmade concept anyway?
Is a nightmare a manmade concept?
Well yes, but it’s within the mind of the man, it’s within the subconscious of the man.
There’s a difference between an experience and a concept, a nightmare is an experience. For example, in an experience of anger, you just feel it, don’t you? You can have a concept about that anger, but the actual thing is the anger. Do you know what I mean?
No, you lost me.
You can think about anger…
Yes.
But you can feel anger…
Yes.
Right, so they’re two different things.
Right—thinking about it and experiencing are two different things.
Yes, that’s right, because you can think about something in the absence of the thing, or, in the presence of the thing.
So we have to prepare ourselves, don’t we? It takes a long time.
If you wait, time will just pass by. It’s not worth waiting, you learn as you go along. You prepare yourself through information, by getting as much information as you can, and through experience.
Everyone goes into the astral plane every single night and there are some things you should be aware of if you search for knowledge there. One of these is deceit, and it is encountered in various forms, both subtle and obvious. If you go out of your body and you see a spiritual looking figure that fits the ideal of what you think a spiritual being looks like, how are you going to tell if it’s true or not? By intuition—if you look into their eyes, you’ll uncover them. The eyes of those who are on the dark side are very sinister. There are also recitations to expel negative beings.
Another way to be deceived is through your own hallucinations. If you are in the astral plane and start thinking about flying pink elephants and imagining them, before you know it, there will be pink elephants flying in the sky! Now how would you tell whether it was a true experience? By knowledge of how the astral plane and the subconscious function and by intuition and experience.
You need to overcome fear, study what you can here and then go and learn out of your body. It’s through actual experiences that you really learn what this is all about. You will be able to get back as the silver cord connects the physical and astral bodies. Fear easily makes someone fly straight back to the body; the difficulty is staying there, and overcoming the fear.
There’s much that can be done to prepare to go into the astral plane, it doesn’t need to take long to achieve it. It’s a natural process that takes place within every single person every night. You’re simply becoming aware of it when you have an out-of-body experience.
So when people encounter evil spirits, what can they do to defend themselves?
They can use recitations, so if there’s a demon or something you’re not sure of in front of you, you can get rid of it with them.
Can sinister spirits capture your body or mind or something?
No, the only way that something like that can actually get into your body is if you welcome it in. For example if you do channeling, you don’t know whether the entity which is coming in is good or not. If you invite something in, you do it of your own accord. Otherwise it can’t come in.
So if you are too scared to face it, that creature cannot harm you? If you feel weak against it and you can’t defend yourself, can this creature harm you? Because if he or she knows that you are weak and you are afraid…
They pick on any weakness. Their main goal would be to deceive you and to stop you from getting knowledge. So then they would use fear to stop you, or any other weakness you have. So what you need to do is to get the weapons to defend yourself and to overcome your fear, so if you do meet them you can deal with them.
So in other words they don’t want you to proceed with the spiritual path?
That’s right, exactly.
Do these entities have an aura? Can we see this aura?
Everything that is physical has an aura that is fourth-dimensional; however, they are fifth dimensional and exude sinister vibrations. But people exude sinister vibrations as well. For example, can you tell when someone is angry toward you, without them saying a word?
Yes.
Besides seeing visual clues, you pick up on vibrations which travel astrally, in the fifth dimension, they move in rippling waves, and then they hit the area of the solar plexus and you feel their effect.
Can we do the recitations not only in the astral but in the physical world if someone is angry toward us?
Yes, you can do that when you are in the physical world as well. That will remove outside entities, but usually, in daily life, it’s the entities that live within a person, the egos, they’re the problem. So what you have to do is to get rid of the corresponding anger within yourself. And then there’s nothing to send back, no anger to return, and like that you can get out of the situation as best as you can.
Is the antichrist Lucifer, the devil, or Satan?
Lucifer is the shadow of the divine Logos—people mistake this for the antichrist. Lucifer means light bringer; it’s the tempter, and triumph over temptation gives light.
What is the antichrist? Is it a demon?
Demons are beings who rise and fall; demons can repent and change, they are not the antichrist.
The language of The Book of Revelation is symbolic, and the antichrist in it refers to the intellectual mind and what it creates, driven by the horrendous egos, the selves that are within a person.
The mind produces things and people worship the things that it creates.
Destructive tendencies such as hatred, greed, and anger express themselves through the tool of the intellect. If the intellect was a tool for Christic forces, humanity and the whole world would be very different.
Humanity worships the antichrist, because it worships intellectual results and products, it reveres those with high academic degrees, it’s in awe of what they can produce: cars, airplanes, spaceships, computers, and this makes it seem as though the intellect has all the answers.
But the intellect is driven by something else; it’s driven by what’s inside the psyche, and that is egocentric. Then the intellect becomes a vehicle not simply for material progress, but also destruction, and yet, it is revered.
It is true that it’s very important to learn to think clearly, but you have to be able to understand the difference between intellect and wisdom.
Many people are confused by this, because they believe that intellectual ability equals wisdom. But people with great intellectual capacity can also be very cruel and destructive. Some of them have been responsible for the worst crimes of humanity. The Christ is love, the antichrist is of hatred.
What about the symbol of the serpent?
The serpent is a symbol in many different cultures and in many different kinds of mythology. There are two kinds of serpent: the ascending serpent, and the descending one. In Christianity there is the tempting serpent of Adam in Eden, for example, and Christianity also has the ascending serpent in the form of the staff.
What this refers to is an energy which is within. Normally this energy descends, it goes down from the coccyx bone right down into the abysses of the earth—this is the descending serpent and from it arise symbols of demons with tails.
The ascending serpent is the Kundalini, it rises up the spinal column, which was referred to by Jesus in Gnostic scriptures as the canal, when he describes people as dry canals, meaning that the spinal column has no Kundalini risen in it. The cane refers to the same thing.
So, there are two serpents: one which is the demonic tempting serpent; the other is the ascending serpent which you can see in much of the worlds mythology and religions such as in Hindu scripture, in ancient Egyptian sarcophagi and masks and statues where the cobra is on the forehead, in the ancient civilizations of Latin America, etc.
How can we defeat the evil within us?
To defeat the evil within, you need to be able to see it. If you don’t see it, it will have control over you and you cannot fight it. So the first thing to do is to be able to see it. If humanity were full of good, how different this world would be. To defeat the evil within requires a victory over temptation and, ultimately a return to the Absolute awakened, and to have finished the path.
